You don’t need to live in New Orleans to enjoy the local festivities of Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday!  There is something so colorful and fun about the New Orleans’ King Cake that I have to make it every year just to feel like I’m celebrating right along with the folks in New Orleans. 

Fat Tuesday is right around the corner wrapping up the the Mardi Gras or Carnival Season that is so well celebrated in New Orleans.

Mexican Cenote Weddings…..

Hands down, these have to be the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen for a trash the dress session! Thank you Maria of Weddings In Playa for turning us on to Dean Sanderson Weddings ! Cenotes, in the Mayan Riviera, are amazing unto themselves and put a beautiful bride and groom in the mix with a creative photographer and you have the recipe for something very unique and special….. I just LOVE these photos. They capture this world so beautifully!

OK, this is me below, photographed by Andrew. This is the same cenote and I can’t believe the colors, and the purity of the waters! It’s un-real, no words to describe this other than I felt like the first human on earth being photographed by the second human on earth )))
